Forced to shoot
General July 15th, 2008My sister is ever the motivator. She pushed me to go out last night and shoot 15 pictures. Of anything. Anywhere I could. Just make it work. I took about 20 shots, and though most were junk, I did get a couple that could be edited to something “not so boring.”

Hey bro! These look awesome!!! I love that ladybug one. Don’t you love that photography is just seeing.

Thanks, sis! Let’s see, with your push to have me take pics, and your direction with editing, you ought to take some pictures now and then, too! [Between Amy and Dad I have outstanding training just an IM away.]
When you’re carrying a camera, or planning where you want to carry one, so many possibilities open up. It really is neat to be able to selectively direct a shot. For example, these two were taken through a chain link fence, with huge construction vehicles behind the grass, and a row of houses behind that. But careful clicking fools the viewer, and that’s fun. And I wouldn’t have seen them without the camera and a shove.

Wow, that lady bug is really neat. Nice capture.
Forced to shoot huh? Forced to edit at this point, too many pictures sitting and waiting. And it’s still a blast.

Thanks, Dad! And I hear you about editing — I have plenty of that to do, too.
