Admittedly, my comment to you Sunday about this was completely out of context.

And I like your answer to "Are you a Christian?"

Uhm.......ouch. You and I spent a few minutes discussing this at church on Sunday, and I think I was a little quick with my response. Though it is hard to conceptualize anything better than what is presented in this question with our limited frame of reference; I found the more I thought about it, the more I realized how weak my own perceptions and convictions are about why we do what we do. I was studying the word "Christian" for a challenge I gave on Monday night, and found it to mean,"follower of Jesus Christ" Clearly this is different from the meaning of "Saved", or "Born again". I have always answered the question, "Are you a Christian?" in the affirmative; however, I have begun to realize that the correct answer for me is, "I'm trying to be." I hope to live up the that incredible standard one day. Thanks for the thought.
